Shows are held in Oak Hall at Eastcote Community Centre, Southbourne Gardens, Eastcote. MAP
The Society holds 3 shows per year: Spring, Summer and Autumn.
If you have some plants in the garden, grow fruit or vegetables, can make cakes, take photographs or are interested in handicrafts you might find there is a class for you. Take a look at the Show Schedule which differs for each of the 3 Shows throughout the year.
The Show Schedule lists the classes for each show and includes the rules and guidance notes.
Show entries are free of charge, but see below.
Entries are to be advised to Show Manager ideally by 9 p.m. on the Wednesday prior to each Show, or to be handed in at the Trading Hut the Sunday before a Show. The Show Manager may accept late entries up until 7 pm Friday, if space for the entry is available. Any entries made after 7 pm on Friday will be at the discretion of the Show Manager and will be charged at 25p each. NO NEW ENTRIES will be accepted after 10 am Saturday.
Exhibits MUST BE STAGED between 9 am and 11.30 am on the day of the Show. Judging will commence promptly at 12 noon.
Shows are open to the public from 2.30 - 4.30pm, free of charge.
A wide range of home made cakes can be enjoyed with tea on Show afternoons.
A selection of plants will be on sale.
The Show ends with the raffle being drawn and prize giving at 4.15pm.
The Show Manager and the Show Committee members are available to help newcomers stage their exhibits on the morning of the shows - just come along and see how it's done.
