Coach Trip 2026

Coach Trip to RHS Hyde Hall gardens   Saturday 25 th April 2026.
 
The coach left Eastcote at 9 am and it was a smooth journey to the RHS gardens near Chelmsford in Essex. The weather was perfect for a full day's trip - warm sunshine with hardly any breeze. Temperature was about 18 C.
 
A member of the RHS team greeted us on the coach with a brief introduction and drove the mobility scooters to our coach.
 
We were greeted at the entrance to the gardens by large tubs of tulips in stunning colours. Other highlights included the wisteria blooms on the old farmhouse, bluebells in the woodland and the mauve of the camassias.
 
There was an extensive plant centre and some of our group brought plants back onto the coach.
 
The return journey was just as smooth, reaching Eastcote by 6 pm.
