Second Coach Trip 2025

Coach Trip to RHS Wisley - Saturday 27 th September 2025
 
This was our second coach trip of the year. We had a beautiful autumnal day for the trip - the sun shone most of the day and it was pleasantly warm.
 
Many of us had not visited Wisley for a while, due to the traffic issues on the M25 and A3 junction whilst a new road network is built. It was good to be back and see how the grounds are continuing to be developed and to enjoy the colour at this time of year.
 
Two members of our group hired "Tramper" mobility scooters which worked very well for them. Others members used the Assistance Vehicle which was driven to key parts of the garden.
 
At the exit there is an extensive gift shop plus indoor and outdoor plant centre. Fortunately our coach driver was happy for plants to be brought back on the coach as one of our members was carrying his new purchase, a banana plant.
