Autumn Show Report - 6 th September 2025
 
The weather for the Autumn Show was glorious. There had been some wet days in the week prior to the show which makes it tricky to maintain some blooms in tip top show condition. Our exhibitors did a marvellous job of bringing a wide variety of flowers, fruit and vegetables from their gardens and allotments. The Dahlias made a stunning start to the show as you entered the hall.
 
The photography classes are becoming even more popular with many entries submitted for each of the classes.
 
It's particularly pleasing to see new members entering the show and I hope our new exhibitors return to the shows next year.
 
The show is setup before 9 am by a band of volunteers including some from our sponsor, Robert Cooper Estate Agents. The afternoon teas and homemade cakes attracted a good number of visitors. Our President, Catherine Dann, presented the awards to the winners at the end of the afternoon.
 
We are very grateful to everyone who took part and who helped on the day to make the show a success.
