Summer Show Report - 15 June 2024
 
Summer had arrived in Eastcote just in time for the show. The week prior had been a bit dodgy weather-wise but this hadn't deterred our exhibitors from finding some superb blooms. The sections that don't rely on the climate such as home produce, handicraft, photography and the children's were all well populated.
 
Our sponsor, Robert Cooper Estate Agent, helped by providing four people for our 8 am setup. This enabled us to get ready in record time. The founder and director, Steve Pursey, and his wife, Marilyn, joined us for the afternoon and the presentation of the awards. Catherine Dann, the EHS President, handed out the cups and certificates to the winners.
 
The homemade cakes were popular with the visitors during the afternoon. Thank you to everyone who came along to see the show and to those who helped make it happen, by exhibiting or volunteering with the many tasks on the day or in advance. We look forward to seeing you at the Autumn Show.
